The hotel was our second home for 5 days. Wonderful location, close to any tourist attraction, shops of any type. Italy itself is fascinating. When I arrived, there was Tomaso at the reception, a very nice, open receptionist, a wonderful host whose opinions I followed. That's how we had dinner at Da Pepi , at Al Barattolo. Our room was large, with a double bed and a sofa for the boy, the bathroom was extremely bright. In the room, there is also a small refrigerator, a table with a large mirror, and the plus in the room were the USB sockets, generous in number. The large windows looked out to see where you could see the Italian life: the small streets, large windows with shutters, many motorcycles and mopeds, warm colors.

Nice place to stay with a wonderful staff and a convenient location. I loved to start my day with Trieste Coffee and a variety of delicious pastries. Strongly recommended!

Great location near the piers, canal, and the Roman arena. Heart of downtown. All the fun outdoor cafes are close. And an easy walk from the train or bus terminal. Most important are the staff who were fantastic. We arrived so early we had over 8 hours to wait to check in. The staff let us sit in the breakfast area and made us coffee. We stayed they until the first cafe-bar opened (6 AM). The shower in our room was super, open and spacious. If I visit Trieste again I will stay here. Photos from our room.

Honestly, this was a last minute we need a hotel before we go on a cruise booking. What a fabulous low cost hotel. 120 dollars for 2 people in a room that had 3 beds, hausbrandt coffee maker and a beautiful marble bathroom. The staff were friendly and very help with directions and advice on places to visit. The breakfast is continental and gorgeous. The pantries are amazing and the coffee is divine. The location is close to the amphitheater and a stones throw from the old city. Would come again to Trieste and this hotel again.

We booked way in advance and saved ourselves 50 EUR Superb location. A shopping arcade, bars and restaurants are round the corner. Besides, it's within walking distance from where life is happening, it's off the street so a good night's sleep is guaranteed. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and clean. Lovely staff and tasty breakfast!

The staff was very nice. The rooms were good looking. And that's about as much as I can say positively. The breakfast was cold on the first morning, the same food every day. Only 1 or 2 cakes differed. No eggs, no bacon, no warm freshly cooked stuff. Only pastries and some ham. But the biggest problem was that in the room we were in there was a huge bedbug infestation, my partner got bitten 40-50 times one night making her trip unbearable due to itchiness. We got a new room where the first night was unbothered, then the next she had bites again. I only had 2-3 bites as a male we are not very susceptible to these insects, but be vary this place is crawling with bedbugs. I hope they do something about it.

Everything in Hotel Città di Parenzo is new and very clean. Good location. The staff at the reception is very friendly. If you skip the breakfast it will be a very nice stay in this hotel. The service lady in the breakfast room was very very very very rude. I was in many hotels all over the world but I have never had such a bad experience. To start the day without hassle it is better to skip breakfast in this hotel 😁

We were there 1 night. I was impressed by reception service - helpful, smiling and quick. The breakfast was more than you can expect in Italian hotels. Some fruits, meat, even glutenfree bread were there. The rooms were big enough. Too hard mattress (I slept on the pillows )), the toilet and shower are made in the same room, so it's impossible to have dry feet when you are in the toilet, if someone took a bath just before. The location is central.
